Kveta A. Jasek
I was born and raised in the Czech Republic. In 1970, my husband and I moved with our two boys to Edmonton in Canada. The reason we decided to move was because the political situation in Czechoslovakia didn’t look promising for our future and for the future of our children.
In Edmonton, I was working as a telecommunication and avionic technician. In 1990, after surgery, I became severely depressed and wasn’t able to function. Doctors prescribed me antidepressant medication. I didn’t like the feeling of not being in control of myself.
It was by chance that I came across a health food store. It opened my eyes to another possibility; to help ourselves the “natural way”.
By taking different B vitamins and other supplements, I eliminated the use of my prescription medication. Soon after, I felt like a different person. That’s what got me interested in healing ourselves the “natural way”.
In 1993, we decided to move to Creston Valley in British Columbia. It was always my dream to be surrounded by nature and the mountains. At this time, I had absolutely no idea about what I would do as a source of income.
In 1996, at the health food store again, I heard about Reflexology and my future reflexology teacher, Lauren Slade. She also introduced me to Reiki – my first experience in seeing violet and gold light and feeling the energy. This was when I knew that there is something more than just our physical body. It opened me to spirituality.
I completed my reflexology certification and got a master level in Reiki.
In 1998, after moving to Wynndel, B.C., I opened up my practice. Surrounded by beautiful nature and mountains, my dream came true.
My heart’s desire to help my clients encouraged me to take other courses, including The Emotion Code, CranioSacral therapy, Metatronia Therapy and Hypnotherapy.
My speciality is in The Emotion Code. It has changed my life. From shy to confident, I have learned how to live from my heart and understand my clients’ challenges.
My hobbies are gardening, spending time in nature, singing in the choir, and hiking with the local hiking club. Also, I love to travel to spiritual places like Sedona, Mt. Shasta, Mexico, and the jungles in Peru, to meet with shamans.
The most important thing to me is to be dedicated to my clients.
